May Day Flower Crowns!
Hello May Day! The birds are chirping, playdates are outside, and summer break is just around the corner. May Day originally began in medieval Europe to celebrate the coming of Spring. For BISBY’s own May Day celebration, we are showing you how to make your very own flower crown!
Directions
Print out the template available here, and decorate to your heart’s desire! Feel free to color in or outside the lines with crayons. Use pastels or bold-colored watercolors to create a blended look. You can even glue on rhinestones, sequins and glitter!
What You'll Need
1. Flower crown print out
2. Stapler or glue stick
3. Crayons, watercolors, pastels, colored pencils (whatever you want to use to color!)
4. (Optional) Glitter, sequins, rhinestones, glitter glue
How to Assemble Your Crown
Once you are done coloring your crown, (with parental supervision) cut along the dotted lines of the vines and tape enough strips together to create a circle or a crown that fits your head. Once the flowers are decorated, cut them out and glue or tape them onto the crown.
We want to see your crowns! Send us a picture of your #BISBYGIRL decorating, displaying, or wearing her decorated crown to hello@bisbykids.com, or tag @bisbykids in your May Day crown decorating activities.
Happy Crafting!
